Mya LOVES her daddy. But she also really, really liked the tennis ball in my hand. This shot was not planned. We were trying to get her to walk down the path towards me with them, but she wouldn't leave my side while I had the ball so her Dad had to pick her up and carry her away.

The Opiliones are an order of arachnids colloquially known as harvestmen, harvesters, harvest spiders, or daddy longlegs. As of April 2017, over 6,650 species of harvestmen have been discovered worldwide, although the total number of extant species may exceed 10,000.
I have a lot of birds at feeders in Winter and the bluebirds seem nervous about their nestbox. Daddy makes sure everyone knows these are his digs. Our beautiful world, pass it on.

This gorgeous plant was growing out of control and had these crazy trailers all over the place. The first thing I thought of after I took the shot was it reminded me of a (Daddy Long Legs) spider!

My father did not die in the line of service, however, he did serve int he Army for 7 years ... I was born while he was still in the Army .....
Here in the deep south: You will hear folks, refer to this week end, as "Decoration Day" .... and that is set aside, for loved ones, to honor, and change out flowers, on thier loved ones grave
