Make a picture of a drip.

A slow drizzle collects on the leaves and travels the stem getting heavier and heavier until it can hold on no longer.

I just played with the tap till it started dripping about a drip a second.

My garden is frozen! We still have a true covering of snow over everything at ground level. Time has stood still when it comes to the water on leaf situation, so without a flash we've got a still moment of movement. Loving getting out the macro lens after it's gathered some dust over the last few months.

OOoooooo less frosty

Our White Christmas has passed and the snow has melted. It's been raining all night long and still is! At least the temps are high enough to not freeze the precipitaion. Hope you're all having a relaxing weekend, friends!

My cobbled together drip dig. I tried to add some Kayro syrup to the mix so I could get more surface tension in the splashes, but I don't think it worked too well. My biggest problem is still lighting. I need a lot more powerful directed light. Also, because the fastest I can slave the flashes is 1/250, so I can't catch the movement as well as I'd like. I'll keep working on it though.

To melt or to freeze? That is the question.

A drop on branch, so precious, so delicate, so easily knocked off of the branch while adjusting a tripoded 300mm lens with 25mm extension tube.

Screen Print. Drips are often associated with spraypaint and i wanted to deliver this idea in a bold visual manner.
