Jack the Dripper has a volatile personality and struggles with bouts of alcoholism. In an attempt to fight his alcoholism, Jack once underwent Jungian psychotherapy with Dr. Joseph Henderson. Dr Henderson made the misguided decision to engage Jack through painting and art.
"I try to let it come through. It is only when I lose contact with the painting that the result is a mess. Otherwise it is pure harmony, an easy give and take, and the paint covers me well".
Dripping blackcurrent squash into milk. Photoshopped. Made of 2 different images.
Dropped various different things into milk in different containers including coins, pebbles, drips from a spoon and malk lid, pasta and blackcurrant squash.
First attempt at capturing water dripping from the tap. Took me three shots to get it. The first shot i missed the drop completely, the second shot the drip was just forming on the tap. Third time lucky.
Barista at Analog Coffee pouring water in a coffee dripper. One of the last few frames in this roll. I was doing my coop assignment at the coffee shop and decided to take a couple of shots before I head out since it was getting quite late.
I was trying to take pictures of bubbles, but these came out much nicer! I have a couple more in my stream.
I am having a lot of fun with my copy of Mess: The Manual of Accidents and Mistakes
These pages were created with liquid watercolor inks. I dripped the ink on the pages and then tilted the book to let the ink run. I then blew air through a straw to encourage the ink to spread further.
I love the way this project turned out ... the ink looks a bit like insects or deep undersea creatures.

Another from the train, a drip of melt water from the snow trickling down the outside window of the train. I was playing around with Manual focus on my usual walk around lens and I really liked the effect it gave.
Some icicles outside my front door. I was going to try and shoot these from a more elevated level but couldn't get the ladders to stay put.
There a real darzer of an icicle hanging from the roof gutter, I might try to shoot tomorrow but for now this will do.

Washed with rain, pipes funnel each drop down to become a torrent weaving a barrier and urging stoppage and awe. Even within new surroundings this inconvenience issues forth a declination to participate. No longer can groups of people stand in silence to let time meld into collective thoughts of nothingness.
