Another from the train, a drip of melt water from the snow trickling down the outside window of the train. I was playing around with Manual focus on my usual walk around lens and I really liked the effect it gave.
Water dripping from about a 4-foot icicle on my house the day after we got a record 2 feet of snow. A friend and fellow photographer gave me advice on how to capture the drop perfectly. I got pretty close here, considering it's from sticking the camera out the door. Frankly, the icicles were so big, I was afraid it was a bit dangerous to go out the door.

The sap was running fast. Our guide had us count how many drips in a minute so they knew when the bucket would be full. Hans just wanted to stick his head under the spile.

After a foot of snow the remperature got slightly warmer- just enough to make the icicles sweat.
I've missed you Flickr! It's been way to long and I missed you, i've just had so much work, school is overtaking my life. but im determined to keep up with my guitar and photography, they're too important to ignore!

Having fun with a lava lamp. Because when you don't own one yourself, they end up being fascinating...
My first time playing with my new real macro lens this week. I found it difficult with the drops but like the way this one ended up with the middle bit in focus.
