The days are passing far too quickly for my liking.
My last exam was over two weeks ago and I've done little more than sit at my computer watching endless episodes of desperate housewives and going out every night with the same results the next morning - apologising to friends for what I may have said or done the night before.
I used ink and dabbed up on the hand to get ACTUAL and realistic dripping and then I sculpted over the drips to give them dimension.
My first attempt at drip hydroponics. I plan to make a larger unit later on from rubbermaid containers (of course). I can't justify paying $40 for "heavy dudy plastic" peices they sell in the hydro-stores. I need two peices at that price!! I have everything I need for under $20 from Menards.
and it is getting better and better. This time I tried with some colors and lighting.see the setup

I got one of my cameras back today from Canon, and this was just a test shot to see if the calibration they did helped any with the focusing. Still undecided...

Couldn't be anyone else's lips but Dom's. This epitomises what part two of today's photoshoot was trying to find. Deeply sensual but not inappropriate in any way. I utterly adore this picture.
a bit of a drip. not so easy to get closer, sadly, as I can't quite lean out of my window far enough
12:03 the only proof I could get of water aerobics... I had hoped I'd find a moment before or after in the locker room alone... but no dice! It was awkward enough to run into my 4th grade teacher (subbing for a group that was about to take lessons) as I was trying to stealth this shot before nabbing my suit & leaving. oyg!

...Little April showers, oh except its July and this wasn't a shower it was a downpour that lasted ALL day! Not that Barney cared, as you can see :) Taken a few days ago
Got my controller handling camera cable release, flash, and the water valve solenoid! I thought I'd show off and program it to photograph a sequence of drops, slightly increasing the delay each time. Now I really need to do this again, with a more consistent dripping setup.
