A drip torch is an essential fire tool. The end of the torch is lit on fire and loop in the spout prevents fire from going up into the canister. Fuel for the drip torch is of a mix of diesel and gasoline.

My very first attempt using my dSLR, Toma-kun. (I named him after Ikuta Toma/Nakatsu Shuichi from HanaKimi in case some of you are curious, lol. 8D)
I got my new Snap Shot II strobe light the other day. It's a great big thing, made for DJ's light systems. It makes a pretty good photo strobe, though. Nice and short but very intense flashes, up to 15 a second, and it can be controlled by my MAKE: Magazine strobe controller.
lol Ok so this is my first attempt at catching a drip. Drop. Drip or drop. Whichever! So I guess I did catch a drip but the asthetic part is wayyy off. I have been reading and know a few more things I need to do to get a pretty shot. This was taken in my bathroom with just the room light. No tripod..just camera on edge of sink.
Holly has given me some great instructions so I can try this again another time. Thanks!!

Charging an iPod Nano on a wrist band feels strangely cyborgian. Just like having an IV from your wrist to your laptop.

this is it. the different droplets. there's more that i took on but on the cups. i'll post more on that in the sometime in the near future.:-)
btw, i'm feeling a little better on sickness, so it's going well(although it's a bit rainy today:-P).:-)

A very dirty dripping tap in the bathroom. I took about 30 handheld shots - not many were in focus. This one turned out swell.

I was walking with a few friends through Downtown Detroit when we came across the Michigan Soldiers and Sailors Monument. I saw the water dribbling down the side of the monument and I couldn't resist but to pull out my camera and start shooting. After taking a few photos, I stand up and look around for my friends who thought it would be funny to abandon me and send me on a wild-goose chase through the city to find them.
