You can really see that rad droplet here!
I'd love to complain about all the rain today, but I know a shit-ton of show is dropping on you folks up in the north and east areas, so I'll refrain. :)
But, this puddle is literally a step outside my door, and if it rains much more we'll be walking through puddles to get to out of our little courtyard. Yikes.
My favorite song to listen to when I'm driving in the rain is here.
Drip irrigation setup in the hopyard. Two rows with emitters directly on the hills. Right now, I'm using an automatic timer to water three times a day for 15 minutes to help the roots establish themselves.

made the rack for less than $30- no tools required. Plus, if someone wants to have a fight with dripper racks... I win.

I re-visited the water drips today. I used a photograph of a dandelion seed head as a background and to provide the refracted image in the drip. Lighting was provided by off camera flash. Camera on a tripod and shutter tripped manually.
Drip some kind of liquid here (ink, watercolor, tea, juice, etc.).
I used food colouring and a straw to blow the liquid in different directions.
I took a photo of this tap dripping years ago. I wonder how much water has dripped out?
Wow, thanks to everyone for stopping by and for all the flickr love! This was my first non-iPhone (real) shot in a long time so explore was completely unexpected.

saturday night
and the tap drips
under the strip light
and i'm sitting
in the kitchen sink
and the tap drips
drip drip drip drip drip drip drip...
waiting
for the telephone to ring
and i'm wondering
where she's been
and i'm crying for yesterday
and the tap drips
drip drip drip drip drip drip drip...
I used ink and dabbed up on the hand to get ACTUAL and realistic dripping and then I sculpted over the drips to give them dimension.
