An attempt to convey the feeling when you're trying to sleep and can hear the drip, drip, drip of a leaky faucet.
Lighting: SB-800 below and to the left of the camera, diffused.
Inspired by Travis Warren but we'll be using this to test how much water a drippy faucet can waste a day.
You can really see that rad droplet here!
I'd love to complain about all the rain today, but I know a shit-ton of show is dropping on you folks up in the north and east areas, so I'll refrain. :)
But, this puddle is literally a step outside my door, and if it rains much more we'll be walking through puddles to get to out of our little courtyard. Yikes.
My favorite song to listen to when I'm driving in the rain is here.
Drip irrigation setup in the hopyard. Two rows with emitters directly on the hills. Right now, I'm using an automatic timer to water three times a day for 15 minutes to help the roots establish themselves.
A drip of water making a splash. I caught i just right! I'm not sure what this dripping pipe and catch basin symbolizes, but I know it means something. Pretty much everything in the garden has a meaning. Next time I come here, I'm going to attend one of the free tours around the garden.

made the rack for less than $30- no tools required. Plus, if someone wants to have a fight with dripper racks... I win.

I re-visited the water drips today. I used a photograph of a dandelion seed head as a background and to provide the refracted image in the drip. Lighting was provided by off camera flash. Camera on a tripod and shutter tripped manually.
I took a photo of this tap dripping years ago. I wonder how much water has dripped out?
Wow, thanks to everyone for stopping by and for all the flickr love! This was my first non-iPhone (real) shot in a long time so explore was completely unexpected.
