So today (22nd June) is my schools year 11 leavers prom.
I'm rather looking forward to seeing some people I haven't seen since we left and actually being able to say goodbye to the people who I didn't get to say goodbye to when they sprung it on us that we were leaving a day earlier. I'm also looking forward to being able to actually say goodbye to my teachers, some of them have made these past five years so enjoyable and memorable.

It's one of those "convertible" jersey dresses that can be worn as a dress or folded over and worn as a skirt. I can't imagine adding straps to it, since it works as both dress and skirt.

A little bit bored waiting for the taxi to take us to the wedding place, found a way to entertain ourselves. The idea was we had to turn on the camera timer, and then 10 seconds to come up with an idea of an artistic picture. In this one, each one of us got our desired weapon of choice.

This dress can be worn as a dress or as a tunic with jeans. Form fitting off the shoulder and stretchy for easy moving. This body hugging dress will make you look so good.
Pattern: New Look 6620
Fabric: Printed stretch knit from Winmil Fabrics (not sure what the composition is), 1 7/8 yds.
Chocolate Matte Jersey from Hancock Fabrics, 1 yd.
Modifications: The original pattern is a tunic top. I lengthened the skirt to make it into a dress and added a contrast band at the hem. Very easy pattern, and the modifications were ridiculously easy as well!
There isn't anything actually wrong with the left sleeve - it was flipped up when we took the picture and I just didn't notice.
