With some pride I present my crow dress. It can be worn as a top too, or with leggings. The wide neckline gives the dress a mod feel.
The silk crow dress fits like a dream. The material is super smooth and the style is very flattering. The grey makes the color in your face pop more.

This is a candidate dress for the Red Dress Party, a charity fundraiser for GLBTQ youth in Portland, happening April 17, 2010. You MUST wear a red dress to attend.
Dress rehersal for the girls dance recital. It took place at the Newmark Theatre in Portland, Oregon.

"These two garments are some of the oldest pieces of clothing that survive from Ancient Egypt [UC31182 and UC31183]. They date from Dynasty 5 [2494-2343BC]. Petrie excavated them in 1897 at Deshasheh in the Fayum. These dresses wre two of nine 'shirts' that Petrie found in the same tomb.
The dresses are made in one piece of linen reaching from high waist to feet and two pieces of linen for the long sleeved bodice.
The garments are long and narrow. They were discovered with a female body whose shorter height of 1.35m from shoulder to foot, sugggest that the dresses were not hers in life. It is unlikely that clothing was made specifically for the tomb. These dresses were donated as
'grave goods', probably from clothing belonging to the deceased or the deceased's family.
The dresses were investigated between 1979 and 1983 [info board photo fuzzy think this was the end date] when conservators at Hampton Court Palace prepared them for display. The conservation work illustrated the tight pleating or 'crimping' of the linen, which produces a 'stretch' fabric.
