VINTAGE THINGS HOW I HEART YOU! I had a week of theatre and just got back yesterday all freshly inspired. There was so many lovely vintage dresses in the costumes there that I just had to make another retro dress. Sorry, it has started to become a thing by now! lol!

The fabric is not too good. I've worn it twice and it has pilled all over. Looks about 5 years old all ready. Such a shame...
I was going to add pockets and take it in around the chest but probably won't now the fabric has pilled.
But I still love it!!

If you can't be a good example, at least be a horrible warning. Learn from me! Make this dress out of a light-weight fabric, and it will be much more flattering.
Also, it really helps when sewing if you make your dress out of a fabric that doesn't cause your skin to itch when you touch it. Pro tip: that doesn't get better after you sew it up.
