Dress me, I'm no stripper... She was the first ever Fashion Royalty doll I saw.. I looked for her at ebay back then, but when I saw her price over $200 I thought I would never get such an expensive doll... =) well... here I am..
The abaya (black dress) is so hot. It was like wearing a space suit in a sauna. No thanks. I stick with the wifebeaters.
I ended up making this with a 104 width and a 128 length (for my 3 year old!! Wow, she's growing fast!) and it hits just a couple of inches below her knees (the perfect length for her this way). Also took out just a little width and changed the back to snaps (on just the top) instead of an invisible zip. Turned out really cute, but not sure I want to attempt this one again! :)

Dress made by dyeing a vintage slip, inserting godets at the hem from an old lace curtain, tipping the points of the godets with used vintage buttons, and attaching appliques made from hand-crocheted doilies and a piece of an old pillowcase
Couple of fun shots I took of my friends sister Madelene during a Trash the Dress Session we did in the city a while back.
For this one I did a 2 light setup with one sb800 flash behind her bare and one sb800 in front shot through a lastolite trigrip. Triggered them both with CLS.

Made for the little girl next doors 1st birthday, back in March.

Camille is wearing a dress inspired watching the 1960s pop fashion. Its of course for chic girls only and its a perfect fit for any party. As usual at Cossette’s its hand sewn with a lot of care and some good old English Afternoon tea.
I went up to YarnintheFarms in Beverly today to show my finished wedding dress to Jill, one of the owners, and also the designer of the "Which Do You Choose?" pattern that I used for this.
It was kind of funny just hanging out at the yarn store in my wedding dress. :)

The dress doesn't look like any other dress because of the fabric, and that is a key word in my sewing - not to look like anyone else!
Kleit on tehtud taaskasutatud kangast. Eelmises elus oli see suur siidseelik./ Made from recycled fabric. It used to ba a huge silk skirt in it's previous life.
This is one of my favorite dresses. It's quilters cotton in fun clouds.. with 5x5 patches making up a rainbow. There's a fun sun applique at the top. Of course the top is lined with supersoft unbleaced muslin with a stash pocket.
Keeping this one.. but can make things similar..
