A beautiful dress made by the very talented Dairne (báibín) using a pattern by Melissa (quietcricket) in Magknits : ) I knew it looked familiar! Aren't they both so, so clever?

The exhibition in this London museum consisted of a number of dresses hanging from the ceiling. This made them each 15 to 20 feet in length. The idea was that visitors could embroider anything they wanted on a dress to mark their visit with cotton and needles provided.
You can make out a dress in pink in the background and a yellow one to the side which gives you an idea of scale.
An unusual art installation.
In case you have wondered, there is a standard dress code for entrance to chili cookoffs. These gentlemen? at the Williams Chili Challenge in Lenexa, Kansas, demonstrate proper attire for such an occasion. It is unknown if the onion made its appearance. Kidney beans will be denied admission.
