This week's artist presented a real challenge for me. Somehow I think my Mona looks as if she has some sort of skin condition!
The DM was a heavy duty version of the Mack R Model. Sometime in the 80's these fiberglass hood DMs came out, and they were very common when I was growing up in the 2000's. I normally didn't bat an eye at them until very recently when I noticed I was seeing less and less of them on the road.

"Deimos Machines 728 Type-R" | A vessel from the Titan Racing League, whose main event is the annual Cassini Classic- a race around the rings of Saturn. The craft has been highly modified and carefully tuned to achieve maximum speed, with entire sections of exterior hull plating removed to decrease mass and improve heat dissipation.

A bit of sketching from my journal pages. Done in pan pastels. I found this quote on Pinterest, and liked it very much. After I'd finished the page, it drives me crazy I didn't correct it to read "Live simply", NOT "Live simple". .... and therein lies the difference between mixed media journaling and digital journaling! lol
Metropolitan Line A60 Stock DM 5103 built by Cravens of Sheffield, is seen on the traverser within the confines of London Transports Acton Works, on the occasion of the Open Day.
The A60 & A62 Stock lasted in passenger service till September 2012, when replaced by the new S Stock built by Bombardier at Derby.
The A Stock originally comprised of 468 cars and were unique for London Underground as they were the only trains fitted with luggage racks with umbrella hooks.
