Another set of Detroit & Mackinac Alcos lead Central Michigan train 702 southbound under the Zilwaukee I-75 Bridge. In August of 1989 the train is heading for Durand, MI on a nice summer day.

First day out shooting Eagles in a long time . Subject (eagle) hiding behind a hill, water droplets on the lens, snow (natural) and noise. Very cold and windy. All the things you don't want when trying to get that perfect photo. Oh well it was fun.

Sitting in CP's yard at Windsor, DM&IR 901 (nee UP 2901) waits on a lift to Montreal. From there she will take a boat ride to Port Cartier where she will work for the Quebec Cartier as number 38 until her retirement and scrapping in 1990.
