Dip Falls | TAS | Australia

Dip Falls, in the North West part of Tasmania.

Needing a cool down from the workout this morning, I decided to go for a dive down the waterfall. The weather's perfect for this dip and my body truly needs it. Needed the perfect bikini to show off my curves so I headed down to the island outlet and done a little shopping. While doing some looking around, I come across a store named ZD. They had this Charlotte Bikini that I couldnt pass up. I purchased it and I got more than what I paid for. This bikini comes in a lot of colors and get this ladies, it's all in a hud. Im a happy camper...yayyyy. Ladies make sure you hit up the Outlet SL and get your ZD Charlotte Bikini today. Oh, did I mention the island had a KosmetiK store? No? Well ladies, you know how i love looking on point with everything and KosmetiK 's owner was there in the store. She showed me some nails that's going to be released at the Be Beauty event and I had to have them. She sold me the Diamond Encrusted Nails so now my look is the way I wanted it. Thanks Outlet SL and KosmetiK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!. And as always, happy shopping ladies ☺

So some Eejit came up with this idea to do 52 diptychs in 2012 . one mono and one colour . So i`ll be uploading mine every Sunday for the next 52 weeks !! ..................

And No !! this isn`t my 2012 project , just a sidebar so to speak ....... thought it might be fun ;-))

Watched this Female Mallard for about 10 minutes as she dipped in and out of the water in the canal, each move was so delicate, can't really explain it was fascinating to watch.

Two brave souls enter a chilly February Atlantic........brrrrrr!

At local forest park for trek in my black Century Dip Tech rubber wellies ;)

Glorious sunshine on the first day of spring! Enjoyed a walk around Kingswood and rounded off with some pond dipping.

For those who veer onto a relatively innocuous looking trail at the Looking Glass Rock Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a stunning little waterfall awaits. Skinny Dip Falls is a popular spot both for swimming (though not nude) and general nature viewing. It may be my favorite of the waterfalls I've seen.

Perth, 2012

Sunrise at Sherars Falls, Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. June 2022.

This is something I made to take over to my friend's place on Christmas Day. Here is the recipe if anyone is tempted to make it, which is very quick and easy.

Saute half a very finely chopped onion in olive oil. Do not have the heat too high, as the onion isn't to be browned.

Add curry powder to taste and mix in well until you get a paste, as if you are making a curry.

Add a reasonable amount of commercial tomato ketchup and mix in well. If it looks too dry, add a little bit more.

Combine two well beaten whole eggs, a bit at a time, with the heat on medium-low, cook until the 'yellow' has disappeared. If the mixture isn't thick enough, add a bit more egg. The yellow will slowly change to an orange/red colour.

Keep stirring, then turn the heat right down to a very low simmer for about 15 minutes.

Turn heat off, cover and allow to cool before putting the mixture into a jar to refrigerate.

Serve with crackers.

As this is a very more-ish dip, make sure you make enough. If you make too much, you can polish it off yourself after everyone has gone.

Bon appetite and a Merry Christmas to all.

I've been making this forever. It's in my handwritten recipe book, so it's pre-computer! It is absolutely splendid on grilled veggies, like summer squashes, asparagus, and portobello mushrooms, and grilled chicken. It makes a fine dip for raw vegetables, and it's a lovely dressing for a cold rice salad. I love to make a rolled-up sandwich with any leftover grilled veggies, a little rice pilaf, and this sauce.

I've used all manner of fat free, light, and full fat yoghurt and sour cream in this and it's always good. Currently, I like Fage 0% yoghurt, which gives it enough body to be a nice dip.

Curry Yoghurt Sauce

1 cup plain yoghurt

1/2 cup sour cream

1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar

2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro

1 clove crushed garlic

1.5 tsp. curry powder

1 tsp. dijon mustard

a teensy bit of cayenne pepper*

1 tsp. honey

Mix until smooth.

*Put as much or as little cayenne as you like. I use just a smidge so I can feel just a bit of heat.

Spotted this snowy egret flying back and forth "dip fishing" and saw an opportunity to practice my BIF tracking skills. I shot a dozen or so bursts as it flew about hoping to catch a nice shot or two. This is my fav.

There are different theories about why the dips were carved into this stone but whatever the reason, these days it's mostly used for photography.

A friend and his wonderful toys has helped me improve on this image to where I can proudly display it again as a new version. The original, to me, had washed out colors and the eagle looked....fakey.

It is a composite of two of my pictures along with a flood filter effect by flaming pear.

As for the title....It's actually a song by Peter Cetera that I particularly like. One of those sentimental gooshy types of love songs. =0) Take a listen while you browse Flickr? Dip Your Wings

I like these tiny little flowers and how the white petals seem to look like they were dipped in pink :) Best Viewed Large
