The focus on my 50mm is starting to act ... eccentric. It seems to have its own ideas about where the focus should be, especially far away, or very close up. Sometimes the effect is alright. Sometimes... not so much.
I took this photo in late April this year. Skinny Dip Falls is located on a trail opposite of the Looking Glass Rock overlook. The trail isn't very long, less than one mile and is a bit rocky.

So some Eejit came up with this idea to do 52 diptychs in 2012 . one mono and one colour . So i`ll be uploading mine every Sunday for the next 52 weeks !! ..................
And No !! this isn`t my 2012 project , just a sidebar so to speak ....... thought it might be fun ;-))
after a very frustrating session yesterday in good light I went back down to the estuary today with a few changes made to my camera menu settings , today was terrible flat dull light ,but what a difference a day makes . I think this poster is a common gull?

This is just an old tunic-ish top but this shot reminded me a little bit of the old bathing dresses women wore in the early 1900's (minus the watch, bracelets, earrings and decolletage).
