Vanuit de trein naar Heerlen (een DE 2-tje in die tijd) een plaatje van wat opgestelde loks ter hoogte van het oude Bw Aachen West. Door de snelheid en onverwacht een fotootje willen maken een beetje onscherp.

Vooraan staat de oceaanblauw-beige 215 114-0 met daarachter de beide oriëntrote 215's 055-5 en 051-4. Het nummer van de andere oceaanblauw-beige lok heb ik helaas niet.

Inmiddels is der seire 215 (waarvan de overgebleven loks ingedeeld zijn in de serie 225) een bedreigde diersoort. Over heel Duisland resteert nog maar een handvol diensten.

2 oktober 1996 (negatief)

De DB stoomlocomotief 012 104-6 (voorheen 01 1104) werd in 1975 door een particulier in Groot-Brittannië gekocht en verscheept via de Rotterdamse haven. We zien hier de locomotief en tender als deklast aan boord van het Britse motorschip 'Benarty' te Waalhaven Noordzijde, Rotterdam.

In 1997 keerde de machine terug naar Duitsland en is ondergebracht in Crailsheim bij Faszination Dampf in Crailsheim. Website:https://www.faszination-dampf.de/index.html
