Okay, this is not a brilliant shot but I couldn't figure out what the green thing was flying around my head. I was delighted to discover it was a leaf-cutter bee. I'd never seen one before (at least not carrying a leaf!)

A trip with friends up to Cutter Ranch near Clinton, BC to meet our young lambs before they are slaughtered in a couple months. We then stayed the weekend at Loon Lake for some relaxing, cooking, and of course eating!
