In the garden I have a pine tree stump that is quite rotten although still standing, however some Leaf Cutter Bees have set up home in it by boring or enlarging an existing hole. This shows a bee emerging.

This coffee shop does not have an appealing exterior. What it lacks on the outside, it makes up for inside. Its interior is similar to that of Forza and Starbucks. It has both inside seating for socializing and a drive-thru for those on the go. Its location is in a busy parking lot with many surrounding stores.

The leaves are stuck together and round the edge with their saliva. Apparently they love Rose leaves, also using Lilac, Honeysuckle, and Hosta.

We have some Hosta in our garden but they didn't use these, we only saw a couple of Loganberry leaves used and they loved one Hollyhock plant which was nearly stripped, although it did not grow very big. They mostly went to other gardens for them.

I spotted this in a front garden, and was taking some photos without realising the home owner was working on his carport. He came across to ask me if I knew what it was - I didn't! So he told me it's a chaff cutter (not working), he'd rescued from some scrap on a farm.
