For anyone who was wondering what I do all day, this sums it up pretty well. No one yelled at me on the phone today, so that was nice ...
They can't replace this cage, bought using 24hour delivery, for a sick hamster. So I can send it back, or get a 15% discount. Ooh, £10 off £70 for the pleasure of keeping an ill hamster in a dangerous cage? I can hardly resist.
Amazon don't have a suggestion for what we do with the hamster in the meantime, because Mr Customer Services doesn't care. But, as a special bonus he'd refund the £8.99 delivery charge, too!
Not sure I can cope with this level of awesome.

There are people I have been working with over the phone for nearly 3 years and I wouldn't know them if they bumped into me. If you've called brpboxshop, there is a very good chance you have talked with Jill. Her desk is a few steps outside my door and I can hear her answering the phone and taking care of business. She does too! I think Jill does a great job and so does everyone else. She wasn't too keen on me taking her picture. I have a picture on my hard drive of her getting out of her chair and she looks like she's going to kill me. Kind of shocking considering how nice she is to all of you who call.

On a snowy Friday evening in late December, Rico noticed his ring was becoming too tight for comfort. We tried every method for removal we could find online—ice water soaks, tightly-wrapped floss and every lubricant found in the average home—but nothing worked. So, at 11:45 PM, we set off to the fire station (in the midst of a snowstorm) to have his ring cut off. As a heater melted accumulated ice and snow from the EMS vehicle inside, we stood in the garage of the firehouse, as a young EMT sawed both sides of his band. Finally, at midnight, he was free.
