Last week I emailed Zappos CEO, Tony Hsieh because I read one of his Slideshows on Slideshare.com "Zappos lessons: Building a Customer-Focused Culture.” At the end of the show it said if anyone wanted a copy of the Culture Booklet to email him directly…. I emailed him and asked if he had a pdf copy of the Culture Book.
He quickly sent back an email saying “It's a physical book, which I'm happy to mail out - just need your mailing address...”

At a very fine steak house I had to send my first filet back because it was presented to me "Rare" and not "Pittsburgh Rare" as I had ordered. I also pointed out that the steak had a lot of fat. I asked the server to please make sure that I was presented with a steak with absolutely no fat. "It is fine if you have to present me with a smaller steak. Eating raw fat is disgusting and impossible." This is what I found on the inside of my second filet. When I removed it I was able to enjoy the reasonable steak that remained. However, the sight of this made many others at the table loose their appetites.

I received a new case at month end which is always a crazy time. Our client had one week to get a mortgage offer or she would lose the house. I worked hard the next week liaising with the lender, BDM, clients, their solicitor and accountant. We got the mortgage offer just in time before she lost the house.
These flowers were hand delivered by the local florist within an hour of receiving the offer.

Maryland Department of Natural Resources employee Brian Stupak was honored by the Hogan Administration with the Customer Service Heroes Award for July. Stupak, a project manager with the Maryland Forest Service, was presented a citation by Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford before the July 26 Board of Public Works meeting.
