Rico at Tiffany getting his wedding ring repaired. (And re-sized)
On a snowy Friday evening in late December, Rico noticed his ring was becoming too tight for comfort. We tried every method for removal we could find online—ice water soaks, tightly-wrapped floss and every lubricant found in the average home—but nothing worked. So, at 11:45 PM, we set off to the fire station (in the midst of a snowstorm) to have his ring cut off. As a heater melted accumulated ice and snow from the EMS vehicle inside, we stood in the garage of the firehouse, as a young EMT sawed both sides of his band. Finally, at midnight, he was free.
Thank you, Lego Company, for sending me a replacement torso with no hassles. The few times I have had problems with Lego products (which isn't very often considering how much of their products I buy), they resolve the problem promptly, unlike some other companies.

I was too trusting and didn't take pictures while the box was still sealed. However, here's a picture of what the box arriving via FedEx Overnight looked like. Some folks on Macintouch theorize that the protection for the units is not good enough to protect them from drops in shipping, resulting in case bulges. This box is 32 lb./ in test.
I really love how J.Crew does this Personal Shopper feature on their Website. When it pops up I feel for a moment like I’m in the store. The only problem I’ve encountered is there’s no way to activate it when you need it, rather it seems to just randomly appear. However I guess you could argue that this also simulates the in-store experience.
