My wife can never seem to recall how she likes her martinis. So, after some questioning, Jimmy (our server at Mizuna in Denver) took the time to create a "cheat sheet" with all her preferences. The difference between ordinary and extraordinary really is that little extra.
My local Ace Hardware stationed a self-serve popcorn cart in the store for customers to help themselves to bag of the freshly-popped treat!

Taxco Sterling Manager Julie Monzeglio assist a customer with a return who couldn't access Taxco as it was beyond security. Julie invited the customer to text a photo to her personal cell phone of the item to be returned. After several rounds of texting, the customer selected a replacement and Julie sent it to her!
Each quarter, RDU recognizes Airport Authority employees as well as tenant employees for going above and beyond their job duties to provide outstanding Customer Service. 19 awards were presented today from 76 nominations.

For anyone who was wondering what I do all day, this sums it up pretty well. No one yelled at me on the phone today, so that was nice ...
They can't replace this cage, bought using 24hour delivery, for a sick hamster. So I can send it back, or get a 15% discount. Ooh, £10 off £70 for the pleasure of keeping an ill hamster in a dangerous cage? I can hardly resist.
Amazon don't have a suggestion for what we do with the hamster in the meantime, because Mr Customer Services doesn't care. But, as a special bonus he'd refund the £8.99 delivery charge, too!
Not sure I can cope with this level of awesome.
