This is not as fun as yarn. Those curls are sewn on and there's still annoying gaps if you look close.

Ultimately I want Heilan to have a head of long, beautiful curls but I haven't figured out how yet. Curly wigs are notorious for being a pain. I could try unbrushed yarn: when the strands are separated out they make quite pretty tiny kinks. Or I could try curling brushed yarn to get the ringlets I'm after. Watch this space, I guess.

seriously...this is perfect for me. I don't like McDonald's fries (i usually prefer the thick cut kind), but I love seasoned curly fries.
