Siempre me cautivaron las pinturas de retratos, con sus rostros seremos y miradas que hablan. Me apetecÃa mucho poder añadir un estilo pictórico a mis retratos, y la semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de hacerlo.
Me encantó poder retratar ese momento especial y a la vez mágico de los 13 años, en los que dejas atrás la niñez.

This North American shrub enjoys heavy shade, as plants grow wild deep in mountain woods, and most of its varieties prefer similar conditions. They spread slowly via underground shoots to form attractive ground cover. If grown on a rich soil they are good at suppressing weeds. 'Curly Red' is an unusual new variety with curled foliage that turns bright red during the cold winter months. It makes an excellent plant for winter containers, where it looks good with dwarf conifers and winter pansies.

We drove by a small herd of assorted cows today and I had to stop and shoot the more comical looking ones. I liked this guy's curly do!

A street view of our curly willow. It nearly hides the house. If I don't cut it back all the time, it will grow out over the sidewalk and driveway. It already canopies the walkway to our front door.
