The leaves hold water which little birds drink from and once they bloom the bees go crazy for the blooms. I planted it near fence to try to block deer, but they just come in a different way.
the staggering ...
in the shadow of a wall ... this cup stands on a small pedestal almost hidden ...
the pedestal is part of a work of art that consists of two walls, with added props that reshape the space of four walls ... the room is in a very large classicist building ... again in an urban space, in a natural space in a country, on a continent on a planet in a galaxy ...
the next step up I show on poetry and truth ...
The work of Haris Epaminonda (*1980 Nicosia, Cyprus) is about the examination of a complex, cultural-historical cosmos. The Cypriot artist transforms collage-like combinations of photographs, films, sculptures, objects, and found objects and images into expansive installations and multi-layered narratives. Her motifs come from a wide variety of sources and leave room for numerous associations.

Peziza is a large genus of saprophytic cup fungi that grow on the ground, rotting wood, or dung. Most members of this genus are of unknown edibility and are difficult to identify as separate species without use of microscopy. The polyphyletic genus has been estimated to contain over 100 species. I've been taking some still life photos lately. The weather is not friendly enough to explore outside much or stand still for too long.
I'm inspired by two of my Flickr contacts who are so good in this photography (and others). See the work of Joan Atkinson and Angelina Stanic to see what I mean..

The name of "cupcake" is given as it is a small cake the size of a teacup. In previous centuries, before muffin tins were widely available, the cakes were often baked in individual pottery cups, ramekins, or molds. The name "fairy cake" is a fanciful description of its size, which would be appropriate for a party of diminutive fairies to share.
Cupcakes are often served during a celebration, such as children's birthday parties. Additionally, they can be served as an accompaniment to afternoon tea. They are a more convenient alternative to a large cake as they don't require utensils or division into individual portions.
