Crossed paths with this roe deer on sunday afternoon.Seems he was as suprised as I was. He stopped for a moment and gave me the oppertunity to take his picture. I was searching for the green woodpecker but found this wonderful and slightly scarred mammal instead.

Had a few minutes while my trailer was being loaded, so grabbed my camera to see what I could find.

The BBQ restaurant Jeckyl & Hyde, is next door to Bellingham Cold Storage, and has a wonderful food. I had the pulled pork sandwich last night. Great place if you're ever in Bellingham, WA.

He seems he was in hurry. He saw train is coming. For a moment he attempt to run but he stopped. But his second attempted he successfully cross the train. We know time is very important but its is not more important then our life. We should love and care about our life.
To the best of my knowledge, the last wig wag in service on the Shasta Route protected KLAD Crossing. This grade crossing lies between Texum siding and Bieber Line Junction just south of Klamath Falls, Oregon. The white structure behind the stop sign was originally an administrative office building for the lumber mill on the site. After the plant closed for the final time, the administrative building was converted for use by radio station KLAD, which gave the crossing its unofficial name.
Although the radio station has since moved on, the crossing retains its unofficial name to this day. Not long after this Kodachrome was exposed, the Magnetic Flagman was retired by Union Pacific.
With a loaded train for Lough Ree power station, Bord na Móna 2004-built 4-wheel diesel-hydraulic LM430 rumbles across the 160-metre long bridge, crossing a flooded River Shannon on Saturday 9th November 2019.

This industrial age steel train bridge is the largest man made landmark in the city of Lethbridge, Alberta, in western Canada.
The Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is an arch bridge in the United States that spans the Colorado River between the states of Arizona and Nevada. The bridge is located within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area approximately 30 miles (48 km) southeast of Las Vegas, and carries Interstate 11 and U.S. Route 93 over the Colorado River. Opened in 2010.
At 890 feet (270 m) above the Colorado River, it is the second highest bridge in the United States after the Royal Gorge Bridge near Cañon City, Colorado.
Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression.

... from the Severn Crossing. I have been sitting on this for a few weeks as could not decide which of the hundred or so near identical shots to post. I am a bit click happy; a combination of fear of losing a great shot, and the inner happiness that comes from the sound of the Nikon shutter. Oh, and yeah, I too would have liked to get the sun bang in the middle. ;-)

A capture of an overhanging tree with a multitude of branches in all directions across the frame. In the distance a farmers field and a bleak riverbank. The bareness of the fields is what attracted me to this capture as it contrast heavily with the evergreen elements in the scene.
