I like crossing the imaginary boundaries people set up between different fields: it's very refreshing.

Tawny Frogmouth (Podargus strigoides) female
Mama Frogmouth resting in the shade on this day in 2019. I noted on the file that the temperature on that day was 44°C (111°F) Dad was sitting on the nest. By comparison today is a glorious 25°C (77°F)
For those not familiar with the Frogmouth, they are not an Owl, being most closely related to the Nightjar Family.
Sadly they didn't return to this nest site last year or this year.

Two survivors of the 1900 World's Fair in Paris: the Eiffel Tower and the Debilly Bridge together.
I don't need to describe Eiffel Tower. The footbridge Passerelle Debilly was used as a secret gathering place for the secret service agents of East Germany during the Cold War. In 1989, a German diplomat working for the Secret Service of the Democratic Republic of Germany was found dead on this footbridge, several days after the Fall of the Berlin Wall.

'Journey' is a way for us to explore the crossing, the intersection of our lives between each other
[Jenova Chen]
Sunset and evening star
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;
For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

Sporting a pair of bib overalls (as the good Lord intended), the conductor working the YPV51 keeps an eye on busy Geneva Road as UP 3260 pulls covered hoppers from Coastal Chemical in Lindon, Utah on March 26, 1990.
