Moczkos requested a tighter crop of this image, which can be seen here. The original image was much larger, as I only had my 50mm f/1.4 with me when I saw this, and I wasn't sure exactly how close to crop it, so I'm happy to take someone else's advice. (the original, unedited version is here.)

New crops growing in the front garden of a garden of a farm on the top of the polder dyke. Zoetermeer, The Netherlands, September 2008.
Its hard to resist from not doing macro. However if you have nice 6x6 120 square, some cropping to macro satisfaction can be easily achieved. Provided of course, the initial focus is sharp :p!!

A very spotty crop of sea eagle in mangrove branch across the river.
Still, i'm very happy to have seen in real life one of the sea eagles whose nest cam i've been following at
Many of the communities we work with are located directly on the shores of Lake Atitlán or in the surrounding hills, creating a unique connection to the environment. While nature can be unpredictable and destructive, the people in the communities around the lake need this direct access to tillable land, clean water, and healthy air. Without it, they would lose their livelihoods, and their homes and communities would cease to exist. Programs like the Community Garden Program, our Shelter Program, and our water projects work towards sustainability for both our communities and our environment.

Every once and a while while flying back from Texas there would be a cool crop formation, this is one of them.

Got my first roll of film back today. It's very possible that I squealed like a little girl when I saw what my flea market find managed to capture. This is from the CD-Rom the store gave me with my prints (just cropped square). Going to ask for higher resolution next time.
