Poppies at the edge of a wheatfield

Cropped shot from the Sigma 70mm ...with a bonus fly.

near Los Alamos, California

I'm not too sure what is being grown here, barley?

Evening take of the local crops due to be Harvested soon in North Hampshire.

For "Smile on Saturday" - theme : "meadows and fields" .

There is a windmill in the image - upper left behind the small barn in the distance.

I guess I could say just follow the rows!

Happy Windmill Wednesday!! (HWW)

Fiorita 2020. Pian Perduto, Castelluccio di Norcia

A cropped edit of an earlier image I posted. This beach is very special to me..

Canola fields and windrow trees in the evening light.

A friendly farmer allowed me to re-visit this field from an earlier visit in the year.

Mr Turkey giving himself a nice bug bath in my depleted garden, everyone is eating fresh vegetables but me .. lol

Thank you very much for your kind comments, favorites and looking

Without a shadow of doubt, this is a grape crop self portrait of me under a tree.

I thought the grape vines and cropped hay would make for an interesting aerial abstract, I left my car & I in for posterity & scale.

Have a good week.

Taken just outside of the town of Stavely, Ab. He was on his last pass for this field.

This was a tricky shot. Strong windows and on the base of a large hill with the blustery conditions. Luckily I decided to visit his formation this afternoon, as I'm hearing on Facebook that the farmer is going to destroy it later today, and it was only made yesterday.

Yeh, a bit corny I know. But it's for Sliders Sunday.

Another field near me with a footpath going through a wheat crop.

Tricky to get a shot this week for the 52 Week Photo Challenge Book so I have revisited a shot from earlier in the year . The challenge is to improve a picture by cropping , so I have taken a full view of this Cadillac and concentrated on the grille , chromed bumper and the lights at the front end only . I have also gone one step further and converted to monochrome to give a totally alternative view . You can see the original in the first comment box .

crops at sunset pinchinthorpe north yorkshire

a crop of the baby elephant hair to show how fine this lens is :-)

Thank you to everybody that views, comments and for favouring my images. Always greatly appreciated.

A while ago I posted a crop of this, don’t know what I was thinking..

Local farmers harvesting the last crops this evening (before the weather turns) luckly came across this scene and with the three bales in front leading into the picture, with a nice arc of bales in the distance. The tree is dominant and capturing the last rays of light coming from the right.

Some more lovely mist last week, this a farm v local to me with Ben Ledi and The Trossachs Range behind. A 3 shot panoramic.
