A collection of student sketches. Good drawing skills are a fundamental part of the design process. It is therefore vital that pupils practice and hone their drawing skills so that ideas can be captured quickly and accurately. Designing, as promoted by the department, should alllow solutions to be drawn from the stream of consciousness. In other words pupils thinking is aided by the process of drawing. What results is genuinely honest evidence that will be used for SQA presentation material.

Making a 2 litre whisky box is creative. Filling the box with 2 litres of creativity is also creative. Hence doble creativity. German border shop.

Now its lucky to see such a picture around. But if we go back to 10 years time. This is the most common texture you will ever see. Its was everwhere. Walls build with coral. Creating a nice textured BW scene. Its when you dont need to see any colours. The world of BW. We had our own creations to represent us on BW world. Thanks to the grandies who faced it.
Now its time for us to colour these BW's .. and we are doing it. Some like it smooth and coloured. Green, purple, blue or any colour they can think of to make the walls of 21st century...

Study of the day:
"Comment !
Tu as encore besoin du théâtre !
How !
You still need the theater !
Are you still so young ?
Be reasonable and seeks tragedy and comedy where they are playing better ! Where everything happens more interesting and more interested. While it is not easy to remain a spectator, but learn it ! And in almost all situations that will appear difficult and painful you will find a way to the joy and a refuge, even when you will be beset by your own passions. Open your theater eye , the great third eye that looks at the world through the two others.

Marinovators showcased the creativity of Marin County students in a day-long exhibition at the College of Marin. The event attracted hundreds of children, parents, teachers and local makers, featuring a wide range of science, tech and maker projects: from virtual reality to robots, bio-hacking, drones and paper airplanes.
Geo Monley’s high school maker class showed off ‘MakersField’ -- a cool animatronic city they built together this year at Tam High School in Mill Valley. City features include a lighthouse, illuminated trees, robots, power plants -- and Trump Towers.
Geo and I introduced Tam Makers, our new makerspace and community education program. We offer maker courses, meetups and for adults, high-school and middle-school children. Many visitors stopped by to discuss this project, sign up for some of our classes, and share their feedback and ideas. The overall response was very positive, which bodes well for us.
It was a fun and productive day, and a great way to catch up with the growing maker community in Marin, as well as reconnect with old friends.

Harmony and Balance, so much needed in our lives today. Here are some samples of rock balancing done by ordinary folks in Humber Bay Park. It is free and so very relaxing to try and get the rocks to balance on each other.
Wishing you more balance and harmony in your life and in mine too:) Stay blessed. It is a hazy, warm day today on our public holiday to celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday.
Once an important building,
but with tons of creative minds,
it appears Red.
Red, does not necessary means Fail, or Wrong (education system can be misleading; Red is usually used to symbolized Wrong / Fail).
Red Dot Museum is an outstanding example that RED does not means negative.
Its a sign of creativity & possibilities.
I got another word for it...

Study of the day:
Le commun de la multitude est à la fois une condition et un résultat. Comme condition, le commun est la condition linguistique ou communicative, la communauté de sens. Mais il est aussi le résultat de l'action des hommes. Ce n'est par conséquent pas quelque chose d'inerte, de préconstitué, mais qui se constitue au contraire sans cesse.
The common of the multitude is at the same time a condition and a result. As condition, the common is the linguistic or communicative condition, the community of sense. But it is also the result of the actions of men. It's neither something inert, nor something pre-constituted, but constituted on the contrary unceasingly.

Are you using all your creative potential. For my final major project, I am looking at how creativity is attained, retained and ultimately lost.
What do you think?
If you have a spare minute can you fill out my survey click here
Thank You =)
Yesterday (Monday) was one of those "glue brain" day to me... The kind that creativity doesn't really flowing right and you can't seem to do anything right... Tried jennifer McGuire's Thinking Inking Paint Dabber technique... but didn't go as well as I wanted.
Anyhoo... I distressed both tags with some distress inks before I apply paint on them. I don't have a nice foam applicator like the one that Jennifer has, so I used a piece of facial foam thing... And of course it didn't have a nice marbly look like Jennifer's cards do...
For one of the tags, I used my pearl paint dabber as stamping ink on the Tim Holtz damask stamp. The other one is one of TIme Holtz's masks.
They do look a little better to me today, but still think I should be able to do better...
