Night street scene after the rain in Havana opposite the Capitol Building. Enhanced tonal contrast and slight desaturation - kind of looks HDR - but it's not.
HATE the expression, but could not resist executing for this week challenge… it will not gonna make the MM poll though!
I think I had way too much fun with this week challenge!!! don't you think? I stll have a couple shots to upload...

The bus driver, the limo driver and the taxi driver...
For better grasp of the image, please View On Black
I would give the usual dollar for their thoughts behind the wheel. Are they stressed at that moment? Happy? Wishing their shift is over so they can be back home? Are they swearing on the driver in front of them?
Three random shots taken on Broadway Avenue
Times Square, New York.
Taken with a Canon 50D with 50mm 1.4f lens.
A starchy plant tuber, very common on a lot of American Households, also known as COUCH POTATOS!

... TOY version. These are 2 inches long WWII U.S. M4A1 sherman tanks.
Two things that I am fascinated with and both somewhat became hobbies. The first one is not a surprise for most of you… toys!!! The second one is my fascination with WWII. I am fascinated on how such an extraordinary event shaped the world that we lived today… anyway, this shots were my way of combining both passions!

“Monochrome”
Captain Coco definitely earned his stripes!!!!
"Captain Coco was once a simple and carefree monkey, living in a lush tropical paradise among his jungle friends. One day, smoke and noise woke Coco from a lazy afternoon nap; his jungle home was being invaded by evil developers! Captain Coco knew what he had to do. He alerted his pals and together they formed the Cocommando. The Cocommando patrols the jungle, teaching everyone to appreciate the wonder of nature as a unique and precious treasure, while protecting the beauty of the land."
Lighter approach this week MM gang...

"Stripes”
This past May was my 10th anniversary, and I never got the time to actually execute this idea I had in my mind...
Macro Monday. Theme: Fast
This is the other image taken for the challenge that I wasn't sure about.
Happy MM!
Another shot of the old Taylor acoustic guitar. This one's my personal favorite. Definitely follows the "rule of thirds" I believe it's slightly out of focus though but you can only tell with the original image at 100%

Isn't she lovely? :) The girl on the pic is Kariobinja, and this one was taken in a lovely day in Brunate, on the Lago di Como.
I'll send some more in this days, and Kariobinja too I suppose so stay tuned :D
Please View On Black and visit my other pics on the Kariobinja set :)
Palm oil (dendê oil or red palm oil)
Used in Brazilian and West African cooking palm or dende oil is made from the kernel of the palm fruit. The oil is thick and red-orange in color with a nutty flavor and high in saturated fat. Use to flavor stews and sauces, even used in some dessert recipes.
This is not the same as palm kernel oil which is used to produce some margerines as well as cosmetics.
