I grew some mini Pumpkins this year, they are adorable, Pumpkin Soup tonight with Chilli's, fresh cream, herbs and vegetable stock...
I grew some big pumpkins too and Butternut Squash, but they were not as fun to photograph as these tiny Pumpkins. Once again, I have used my woodland for some crazy bokeh and one of my coloured felt hearts...

My Cherry Tree is toooo high for me to photograph Cherries up close, so I took one of my many 'fun pegs' and took a 'bokehlicious' image of my Cherries at my height. I do love my fun pegs.

It seems to me there may be a connection between the two words 'Roots' and 'Wings' for a passionate photographer.
Like birds, sometimes we just need to uproot and fly off to new places and gain fresh perspectives.
Reach out far and wide, expand our horizons and venture into new territories. With our wings we express our innate curiosity, our sense of adventure and exploration.
Inspired by 'Roots and Wings' a French iconic documentary series created by Patrick de Carolis and Patrick Charles in France in 1997. Essentially devoted to heritage, history and knowledge with a local focus, the reports feature people with a passion for what they do. A valuable inspiration for all photographers.

This is another multiple exposure practice shot of the Rose of Sharon blooms in my garden. I wanted to try to capture the phases of the bloom with a bud, full blooms and one that is slowly fading away. I did not see the two ants until later! Can you spot them both? There are tell tale signs of the summer season passing onto to the next. I will resign myself to the changes and embrace it with new eyes.
