Vintage fish illustrations from Ichtyologie, ou, Histoire naturelle, générale et particulière des poissons (1785–1797) by Marcus Elieser Bloch (1723–1799), the German physician and naturalist. Bloch was the most influential ichthyologist of the 18th century who consistently devoted himself to natural objects, anatomy, and physiology. This collection showcases his devotion to ichthyology, illustrating more than 400 various types of fish. About 50 people gathered on Lake Street in Minneapolis to protest the recent election of Enrique Pena Nieto as President of Mexico. Pena Nieto won the July 1 election by almost 7 percentage points, but there have been thousands of protesters in Mexico accusing him of buying votes and paying off TV networks for support. Only July 22, thousands protested across Mexico.

After 9.30pm... empty seats on rides for little ones... they've all gone home to sleep. I'm sure I would have had nightmares with a green monster like that looking at me while I whirl round on a gentle ride. Sponge Bob was on the other side!
Taken 20 July 2014 near Woolhanger, North Devon. A cow - a young bullock - came galloping up the fence line. As it got nearer I saw it was chasing a roe deer hind and calf. The hind jumped the fence in the corner of the field, but the calf couldn't get over. The hind ran up and down the bank for a few minutes trying to get the calf to follow. Meanwhile the cow lost interest and wandered off. So the hind returned to the calf and went back down along the fence and jumped out further down.
PANORAMA CITY - The Los Angeles Fire Department's Recruit Training Academy Class 22-2 celebrated their class graduation on December 15, 2022, as they became proud probationary members of the LAFD.
Friends and family of the graduates were joined by City of Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley and civic and community leaders, in congratulating and welcoming the 48 newest members of the Department in a ritual filled ceremony that was also streamed live on-line.
