Graves of German soldiers who died in Brno during WW II. They were killed by brave Soviet soldiers and Czech resistance fighters, and it was the right thing, because they were occupiers and fought on the side of the most evil movement of 20th century.
But I'm convinced that in death all people are equal and deserve dignity - and when I saw roses which somebody gave to one particular grave, I have to admit that I was moved by it.

People often ask what is it that I photograph. I tell them that I am interested in forms, and the subject matter rarely matters.
These photographs are shot for photojournalism uses, so besides forms, I like to give them context. The USS Peleliu (LHA) [1] stationed in Hong Kong ought to look different than the ship stationed somewhere else, and so I try to find opportunities which would be site-specific enough while remaining photographically sound to my liking.
Pictured is the tail of an AV-8B Harrier attack plane [2] and a Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter [3] which is part of the HMM-364 unit [4] on the deck of the Tarawa-class amphibious assault ship of the United States Navy when it was docked at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Shui in Hong Kong recently.
The location is unmistakably Hong Kong, as you can see a star ferry [5] sailing on the Victoria Harbour in front of the financial architectural skyline of Central. Most notably, the HSBC Main Building designed by Norman Foster [6] as well as Jardine House with its highly recognisable circular windows [7].
There seems however a discrepancy between what is seen and what was written on Wikipedia. According to Wikipedia, the HMM-364 unit only consists of CH-46E Sea Knight transport helicopters [4] but what was captured here is most undoubtedly the Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion [3].
