Nearly there. Launched soon.
A new book about the creative elements of the city featuring interviews and visual delights from artists, photographers, designers etc. This is a little teaser/taster of progress.
Led by myself at the University of Portsmouth and designed by Jodie Silsby from I Love Dust www.ilovedust.com/
The city of Barcelona is always worth the visit. This being my sixth time in town, I decided to make "Creative Travel" my motto, exploring the beautiful backstreets of the old town in new ways, for instance during a "Devouring Barcelona" Food Tour, a fashion or a bicycle tour. I also went dancing & cooking , plus on a very beautiful day walk around charming Barceloneta ..!

I'm in a mood right now when I enjoy B&W interpretation of my photos a lot.
This was shot early in the morning in my old hometown Ekenäs. I was actually hoping for a lot of fog, but I soon realized that I would have to go for plan B.
everybody are from monkey,we see this everyday in the streets in our life. aND THIS is the painting of the human. Nothing personal. It was only the good photo for the manipulation.

I think this is one of my most creative pictures I took on friday because avery is the focal point against the brick wall that takes up most of the picture.
YouTube's one we should all know about - if not, God knows what your first FMS9A4 essay was like. Allowing anyone to upload videos to be seen by millions of users worldwide, YouTube is both 'a platform for pseudo-renaissance folk art', inspiring 'generativity' (Zittrain) in today's society, and more recently acting as an output for news broadcasts and political discussion. It has spawned celebrities such as Chris Crocker and Brian Limond, who gained mainstream media fame from home-made shows and video blogs. YouTube is hugely significant in media studies, but what it's actually for remains something of a mystery.
'[Is it] an online fad… A clever invention that people need to be convinced to use… a media distribution platform, kind of like television?’ (Burgess, Green, YouTube: 5)
Hosted in collaboration with Google's CS4HS initiative, the MIT Creative Computing 2012 workshop was held at the MIT Media Lab, August 8-11, 2012.
These are "light paintings", made with the camera at low light setting, so a long shutter speed with movement creates all sorts of cool patterns. Most of the ones in this set were done the night we went driving around town looking at Christmas lights. I've already uploaded the set of "normal" Christmas light pictures. For me these are actually way more fun! I'm setting all of them as creative commons, they are VERY fun to play with. Some of my abstract or altered images started as light paintings, maybe combining aspects of several. If you use these a credit and a link back would be great. And if you could post your new image under the one you used as a comment, that would be way fun!
I do these on the highway at night too (as a passenger of course!) They're a fun way to pass the time and some of them turn out quite fun.
