I''m supposed to be finishing a poem for tomorrow's Creative Writing Class, but I'm having writer's block. All i have so far is:
Barbie and Ken
The mirror used to swallow my good looks
but now it seems to choke on my wrinkles-
so does Ken. But the grandkids recognize
every crease as a story.
We bare resemblance to the Claus’,
the joyful, plump couple catering to the happiness of others.
But when the doors are closed and the windows locked,
the resentment still manages to seep in.
I never thought I’d have this problem:
Ken used to linger after my every word
but now he ‘s just a shallow old man,
criticizing me for time’s curse.
I used to be desperate for his attention,
like a pale girl tanning on a cloudy day.
Fat has clogged his heart and is slowly
suppressing the Ken I used to know.
Knitting, gardening and walks-
lure me away from the house.
I can’t bring myself to utter the 7-letter word,
divorce- is it even worth it after 40 years?
No more driving to Malibu in my car,

Most musicians are creatives, improvising, that is why I love being in their presence.

Whilst enjoying some of the imported sake from Japan, Theo and designer friend Walter Flamenco suggested they update their menu to reflect the quality and creative Japanese cuisine; which is that of Kings Cross Restaurant, Sushi Yachiyo.
Utilising Walter’s beautifully illustrated design, we enhanced the cover by printing via our wide format technology onto Waterproof buckram stock. The inside pages were printed onto the Spicer’s Teslin synthetic stock range. The finished result is a waterproof, tactile and highly durable menu. The pattern was highlighted throughout the text pages with raised clear varnish. If menus get dirty they just need to be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Fair & Creative 2016 - Ein innovativer Kontrapunkt zu klassischen Recruiting-Events
Fair & Creative war bereits 2014 und 2015 voller Erfolg!
Die beiden Salzburger Praktika-Matching-Events des Kompetenzforums CITY LABORSALZBURG und des CAREER CENTERs der Universität Salzburg im Jahr 2014 bzw. 2015 waren jeweils erfolgreiche Events im Theater im Kunstquartier.
Mit dem neuen Kooperationsparter ARGEkultur wurde das bereits bestens eingeführte Eventformat in einem neuen Rahmen bzw. neuen Haus fortgesetzt. Präsentationsstände, Kurzpräsentationen im PECHA KUCHA Format und Speed Networking waren auch im 3. Großevent die inhaltlichen Säulen.
Mit dem Anspruch der InitiatorInnen von Fair & Creative - Romy Sigl, Günther Marchner, Bernhard Jenny (alle City Labor Salzburg), Martin Mader, Alexander Seifert und He Fang Liang (beide Career Center/Universität Salzburg) - Studierende mit Kreativ- und Kulturbetrieben zusammenzubringen, richtete sich Fair & Creative 2016 verstärkt auch an Startups.
