Had to do something creative for our Photographic Society comp. Thought of the recent shots of an Eagle owl. Lovely eye, but rather drab plumage. Wondered if a peacock would appreciate being covered in eagle owl eyes. Too difficult. So imagined an eagle owl in peacock plumage - or just having a peacock for dinner!

When you look at a peacock's extended tail, the pretty bits are rather a long way apart. But I had some shots of a peacock's back and (closed) tail from 5 years ago. Used a composite of that for the owl to look through.

So is the eagle owl thinking of a nice meal, or a bit of cross dressing?

2013 went by so quickly and there were many fun creative times which all enforced the fact that I love art and I love felt making and I really like to do it with my friends, family, and class participants....being together and being creative is all part of the fun!
