Here at Creative Tempest, we bring you only the best artwork from around the world. Our next artist we have chosen to feature is a typeface artist from Budapest, Hungary, named Aron Jancso. Aron Jancso is a man who spends his time skillfully drawing and designing letters. We love how he displays simplicity yet distinctness in his typefaces and how his glyphs, though silent on paper, leap off the page and scream at you with bold attitude. Something over in Hungary is inspiring him in a way that makes us want to visit. To sum it all up with one word: sick! We’re happy to post such creative talent and vision here on Creative Tempest and hope that you’ll share the same appreciation for their great artwork that we do. This decorated wall of the Beat Museum building in San Francisco spans for almost one city block. It has succumbed to some vandalism for such an expansive display, but the art itself remains uncompromised.

I''m supposed to be finishing a poem for tomorrow's Creative Writing Class, but I'm having writer's block. All i have so far is:
Barbie and Ken
The mirror used to swallow my good looks
but now it seems to choke on my wrinkles-
so does Ken. But the grandkids recognize
every crease as a story.
We bare resemblance to the Claus’,
the joyful, plump couple catering to the happiness of others.
But when the doors are closed and the windows locked,
the resentment still manages to seep in.
I never thought I’d have this problem:
Ken used to linger after my every word
but now he ‘s just a shallow old man,
criticizing me for time’s curse.
I used to be desperate for his attention,
like a pale girl tanning on a cloudy day.
Fat has clogged his heart and is slowly
suppressing the Ken I used to know.
Knitting, gardening and walks-
lure me away from the house.
I can’t bring myself to utter the 7-letter word,
divorce- is it even worth it after 40 years?
No more driving to Malibu in my car,

Visited 2 exhibitions on Sun - sketches from the international edition of Bandung Sketchwalk and the showcase by ITB's design students. Inspiring creativity.
Beautiful sketches.
I don't know what it is with me and crooked backgrounds! Too snap happy, I guess, but I like his shadow in this one! Maybe we could just call it creative angling! Yeah, that's it!
Romeo and I went to Virginia for the weekend to visit my parents and see the leaves and go to my favorite pumpkin patch. We stopped there once 6 years ago, and all I could remember was that it was somewhere between my hometown of Lynchburg and Charlottesville and that it was on a hill and had a great view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We got all the way to Charlottesville, but still no pumpkin patch, and I was getting really disappointed. My mom kept talking about where to turn to go drive on the Skyline Drive, but I wasn't ready to give up. She said that she needed to stop and that there was a Sheetz gas station just ahead, and lo and behold, there beside it was my pumpkin patch! And it was close to the "magic hour" near sunset when the light is supposed to be just right. The leaves hadn't changed color very much because it has been so warm, and many of the leaves are expected to turn brown and drop off because of the drought. Romeo ~ 10/20/07 ~ 11 1/2 months old
