The city of Barcelona is always worth the visit. This being my sixth time in town, I decided to make "Creative Travel" my motto, exploring the beautiful backstreets of the old town in new ways, for instance during a "Devouring Barcelona" Food Tour, a fashion or a bicycle tour. I also went dancing & cooking , plus on a very beautiful day walk around charming Barceloneta ..!
Check out my travel blog at www.creativelena.com about more tips & insights as to what to see & do in the capital city of Catalunya. Enjoy :)
SoulPancake #2 At Arm's reach
STEP ONE
Scavenge around your desk, barstool, couch cushions for anything handy. And we mean anything: paper clips, poker chips, fake eyelashes, junk mail, bullet casings.
STEP TWO
CREATE ART.
STEP THREE
Bask in your artistic brilliance.
Repeat as desired.
I am a fairly crafty person, but I was finding this challenge to be difficult. I was just totally uninspired. Then I remembered the scrapbook paper in the closet, and I thought I would make some hearts. Both for Valentines day and because I wanted to sent a mental hug to my daughter who is away and I miss her (even though she has only been gone just over 24hrs) I made a "heart snowflake." I really like how this shot turned out.

I organized the hell out of my room. I know this might seem cluttered to some, but it's damn clean for me! Yay!
I think this is one of my most creative pictures I took on friday because avery is the focal point against the brick wall that takes up most of the picture.
YouTube's one we should all know about - if not, God knows what your first FMS9A4 essay was like. Allowing anyone to upload videos to be seen by millions of users worldwide, YouTube is both 'a platform for pseudo-renaissance folk art', inspiring 'generativity' (Zittrain) in today's society, and more recently acting as an output for news broadcasts and political discussion. It has spawned celebrities such as Chris Crocker and Brian Limond, who gained mainstream media fame from home-made shows and video blogs. YouTube is hugely significant in media studies, but what it's actually for remains something of a mystery.
'[Is it] an online fad… A clever invention that people need to be convinced to use… a media distribution platform, kind of like television?’ (Burgess, Green, YouTube: 5)
