I actually took this photo more than two years ago, on my Creative Camera course People shoot. I've cropped it quite a bit from the original. There is something I like about this photo, but not sure exactly what it is :)
I hooked up the scanner a while back with the intention of scanning some pictures of my morris, but I can't find the negatives, so whilst I was searching through the films I put aside a few I'd like to scan some photos off, so there may be a few more old photos coming to light ;)

In addition to showcasing fashionable and creative clothing and accessories, this event also provides participants with an opportunity to express and celebrate themselves and their beauty.

When the water level in some of the creeks around here is down you will see all kinds of piled-up rocks, hoodoos they're called if they appear purposeful. Maybe they are a constructive kind of graffiti. People expressing themselves. This one seen down in Grimes Glen on Saturday is the most sophisticated one I've ever seen. Bring your picnic, pull up a rock, and sit down!
Nearly there. Launched soon.

Detroit's Grand River Avenue had become a showcase of urban abandonment until recently, when a new effort called the Grand River Creative Corridor came into being. Artists went to work on the buildings, creating a corridor of eye-popping visual delight. This building, which houses an art gallery, features the work of graffiti artist Sintex on its front.
