We put our Santa treats by the glowing Santa so he wouldn't miss them. I was a bad mom and didn't make cookies. Jona has a birthday on Christmas Eve so I cooked all day for that and made a cake, so I was tired. We sliced some apples and cheese with some milk.
of my 100 Possibilities project.
This is all my scrap book stuff. I got a new cricut and was playing with it today. I'm making my mom a brag book of the kids.
Woo hoo, only 30 more to go.
This is day 70 of 100 Possibilities. Taken locally, on the train tracks.

On our way to San Antonio. I haven't forgotten about this fella, I just haven't been shooting so much lately. With the weather warming up, I should be getting out more.
This is day 64 of 100 Possibilities.
Went on a short notice photowalk today. Nice park. I think I need to take my kids here for some pictures.
I was just playing with the focus and lighting on this one.
My last load for today. It was fun getting out, I need to get back into my photography. I realized how much I missed it today.
I'm working on my own website and I normally don't photograph cars, but I have a friend that invited me to come out since her guy was showing his car and I figured why not, I can try for some pictures. I think I got a few good ones. I will add some of them to my website.
It has rained daily during the past week and has been too wet to mow. Finally had a chance to mow. Now I need to rake up the piles of grass.
Whenever Olivia needed a break from homeschooling work she was doing, she would run around the backyard and either jump over the piles of grass or weave in and out of them.
Then she'd come back to her blanket and pillow and start working again - either on language arts, reading, or map skills.
Some nice looking cars they had here. I'm a need for speed kinda gal and I can just imagine what this bad boy can do. I've already got two speeding tickets this year so it's a good thing I don't have a speedy car.

I went with some friends to a concert. I wasn't familiar with this band but once they played, I recognized them. Lots of fun.

See how small the engines were way back then, and to think this was top of the line back then, which is why this was Clyde's preferred choice of car.
I took so many but I won't post them all, just a few here and there. I'm pleased with the way they came out.
One might wonder what I'm having Sophia read as part of her homeschooling language arts program.
This is actually part of "A Lion to Guard Us" - a book that's in the Sonlight curriculum. It's a good book that's enjoying reading out loud.
I wasn't sure I wanted to go to the car show, but I'm so glad I did. I have more to load, so keep an eye out.

Yep, see that something cool sitting back there...holy moly, I was so excited to photo this car.
I looked at the engine of this amazing car and it was so little. And to think that this was one of the fastest things back in the day and that was why it was Clyde's choice of car.

This is the house across the street, looking in the front door. Kinda blurry but still a pretty good shot.
Won't be on here for the next week, headed home to California to bury my grandpa.
Day 69 of 100 Possibilities. Taken in Montana. Such beautiful country.
I have more Montana photos to post, but will do so later.
Olivia's is doing her spelling/reading book called "Exploring the Code." She has a list of words that she needs to spell each week. In the book, there are different activities that reinforce how to spell them. She enjoys this book and the "games" that are in it.
Slowly but surely getting closer to finishing this guy up.

Early morning May 23rd 2008 - This is home - for now. We are moving on June 26th and I have been taking pictures almost every day so I can remember this beautiful place that has been "home" for almost three years. I am *so* going to miss this place.

We were blessed with nice weather for the first day of Spring, so I went out shooting.
I love taking pictures. There are so many unspoken words in a photo.
This is Paul and his kids
My friends step daughter is having twins and I wanted to photograph her. On Father's Day, she was going to be at her dad's house so I was invited over to take some shots. This little fella was amongst the guests there and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to fire off a few shots of him. The camera loved him.
