.... at the beautiful shores of Lake Couchiching

Momma and her babies. I chased them across the street to get some shots. Ironically, this was the first one I took and it was the best.

I bought a vintage lens as I still shoot with a film camera and I have adapters so I can use vintage lenses on my DLSR's pre covid days at a second hand shop here in North Frontenac. In the case with the lens was this little 37mm prism lens with a "handle" that you turn to get different effects from. I really had not used it that much until today. I put it on my Sigma 105mm macro lens with step down rings and went out to see what I would get with the wildflowers.

...somewhere in Connemara National Park, Ireland.

I love pictures with the fisheye, I need to use it more often. It expands what you are seeing and puts depth into your photos. Its pretty cool.

I'm definitely taking my kids to this spot for some photos.

I got a new website...when it's up and running I will post a link here to it so you can check it out, but in the mean time, I still have these two.

I didn't take this photo because of course I am the child in it with my mum and dad. Likely, my gran took it with her Box Brownie at their home on Scrivens Street in Ottawa (at that time Britannia) back in 1956.

I have so many memories that I could have easily taken any photograph that I have taken over the years but I decided on one I did not take because my parents have been long gone from my life - my mum in 1986 and my dad in 1999 and being an "only" all I have are photographic memories of them to hang onto.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my little space here on Flickr.

Yay Spring!! It was a beautiful day out today.

This is day 65 of 100 Possibilities. I know I've been slacking but I'm slowly getting to the end. He's sitting on some steps of a train car.

This is an older photograph from 2011 but in my mind, it highlights the unadulterated joy of being able to experience something wonderful and the ability to share it later on.

Week 31 theme is "Pretend". Every summer for 3 weeks we pretend this is home. With all the amenities of home we get to pretend what it would be like to live by the sea or deep in the wilderness.

Thought for today...

Life is like the stock market. Some days you're up. Some days you're down. And some days you feel like something the bull left behind....... Paula Wall

This was for a paying client that requested a photo such as this. Hope he's satisfied with it because I'm not doing it again. :)

This was taken as I got to the top of the mountain, into my subdivision. I dropped Curtis and the kids off and as I was getting ready to drive away, I saw this. I had to stop and get a photo. Pretty huh?

This was amazing. They have this enclosure that is completely see through. I was standing on it and looking down. 103 floors up! Whew weee, that's high. I thought this was a cool picture so everyone could see just how far from the ground we were.

There was this one fella who was afraid of heights and wouldn't step out onto this. It was funny. I called my kids from up here to rub in the fact that I was here and they weren't, lol. It was a stunning view and it sure was cold in there. At least for me it was. These pictures don't do justice to the what the real eye can and does see.

This was taken from my back porch, looking down the mountain. I thought it was pretty enough to share.

Day 1 of 365.

Ok, here we go with my first of my 365. They won't all be posted on here since I don't have a pro account any longer so they will be on my fan page on facebook at www.facebook.com/creatingmemoriesphotos if you'd like to follow along with my journey.

My son is coaching my daughter's soccer team and this was the end of the season until Spring. So we ended the season with a Halloween party. This is my get up. Fun was had by all.

ppsssttt, I'm a dark angel, in case you were wondering.
