Early morning May 23rd 2008 - This is home - for now. We are moving on June 26th and I have been taking pictures almost every day so I can remember this beautiful place that has been "home" for almost three years. I am *so* going to miss this place.

We were blessed with nice weather for the first day of Spring, so I went out shooting.
I love taking pictures. There are so many unspoken words in a photo.
This is Paul and his kids
My friends step daughter is having twins and I wanted to photograph her. On Father's Day, she was going to be at her dad's house so I was invited over to take some shots. This little fella was amongst the guests there and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to fire off a few shots of him. The camera loved him.

". . . I believe in miracles for I believe in God."
Every time I watch a lily break through the tough Georgia clay and grow to become something THIS beautiful, I think of this old hymn. I first heard Anita Bryant sing it
at a Revival at Atlanta First Methodist Church . . . back in the mid 80s.
This morning as I was photographing this one, it occurred to be how much my camera has extended my "vision" into what things are really "like" - - - such as the middle of flowers - - - and I was just struck with the realization that we really *DO* have to look beyond the outside of things and peer deeply inside of them to really know them.
I think this applies to books, to people and, obviously, to flowers!!!
Have a good day, everybody!!
A mother and daughter are playing in a colorful autumn landscape by the river. The daughter is holding an apple while the mother kneels, surrounded by fallen leaves and warm sunlight.
