We’re creating a Haunted House with lower-school students in our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français this fall.
In this after-school workshop, students are building a fantasy world together, with magical creatures, ghosts, witches and other animated characters inspired by Halloween.
We are combining arts and technology to bring their creations to life: each student will have their own room in our haunted house, and they will learn to build simple robots with motors and Arduino, then play with lights and sounds to tell their stories for our ‘show and tell’.
For our first class, we invited students to plan their Haunted House together, then design their rooms and characters, to be featured inside their cardboard ‘wonderboxes.’ My associate Sarah Brewer showed them how to create their own electronic circuit to light up an LED, using copper tape to connect the LED to the battery.
We teach this class to students in grades 4 and 5 at the Lycée Français in Sausalito, every Thursday at 3:30pm, from September 15 to December 15, 2016.

This widdle guy is my visually impaired explorer. He likes the kitchen because he can explore with his nose instead of his eyes. Hedeki likes to play in flour bowls and he uses spoons as his walking sticks. The only issue is keeping him OUT of the sugar container....Sugar doesn't eve have smell!!!!
Any who, Hedeki loves his open space in the kitchen and likes the feel of the warm sun light of a good evening sunset. He does this thing where he stares out the window longingly.....can he see?
"Woman is born to create. In creating she becomes herself, accomplishes her destiny. Her whole life is only an initiation into creative power. To create is not merely to make a work. It is to give of ones own individuality."

I really like the light on Yasmine here and the play with the tulle fabric. I like the way the tulle is frozen in the air and makes the image a little surreal

Our Level 1 Hair and Media Makeup students showed off their skills at their end of year assessment, Create an Image.
The students were assigned a theme and had to create mood boards before transferring their ideas onto a model or themselves. This year’s theme included The 80s and Fantasy. Huge well done to all our students!
This is what happens when you buy a cheap bike off the internet. The bike company is Create but to be honest they are all the same. Very cheap materials used in the handlebars led to metal fatigue - after eight months. This particular break happened whilst I was riding and very luckily on a quiet street. No surprise I didn't stand a chance and the crash was quick and brutal.
So please Beware! don't go cheap, buy a proper bike from a respectable retailer.

In less than 3 days i can create an awesome intro video for your site/business with up to 11 slides, 1 slide with your main presentation (site name, business name, short description of your business etc), up to 9 slides with images of your business with short description on top or bottom of your pictures, and a closing text for your business. We`re talking about a 45 to 60 seconds video just perfect as an intro for your business. In order to make this vid i need you to give me up to 9 great photos and descriptions also, and 2 texts (1 intro + 1 outro). Also keep in mind that i can change the music in this video if you want me to. Just provide it and we`re ok. Before you order my gig please take measures to give me all the infos. That`s IMPORTANT! I need all the info [pics, music, text (MAXIMUM 50 characters) and instructions] in a rar archive if possible. Thanks! PS: keep in mind this: you can become my reseller. just think about it! put my gig on other sites on what price you want, usually at least 3 times the price of this gig, and when you have an order come and buy from me. simple right? PPS: take your time and collect my gig. you'll never know when you`ll need this. thx :) In order to get this go to j.mp/107c9Ak

Shibuya Hikarie comprises 18 storeys of offices (about 50,000 m2 GFA), a 2,000-seat theatre,
a 1,000-seat exhibition hall and a retail block with 235 shops and restaurants wrapped around
an “urban core” that connects the subway, railway and street. By stacking all these different
blocks on top of each other, a vertical city was created. The offices and theatre are located at
a higher level with the aim of creating a “shower effect” for retail outlets and restaurants
below. Hikarie boasts numerous spaces where people can socialise, including a roof garden,
passageway and plaza.
