Little did we know at this point that we were in for this.
La Course à obstacles et la Cérémonie de remise des insignes a battu son plein au Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean aujourd'hui, le samedi 23 août 2025. 8 équipes des quatre escadrons du Collège se sont affrontées dans une course enlevante de 10 obstacles. L'escadron Jolliet s'est particulièrement démarqué lors de la compétition. Iberville, Tracy et Richelieu sont arrivés respectivement en deuxième, troisième et quatrième position.

The Obstacle Course and Badging Ceremony was in full swing today, Saturday, 23 August, 2025, at the Royal Military College Saint-Jean. Eight teams from the College’s four squadrons competed in an exciting 10-obstacle race. Jolliet Squadron particularly stood out during the competition. Iberville, Tracy, and Richelieu finished in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
That row of trees wasn't there in the 1950s/60s - does it divide the outward and inward courses? And there used to be red flags for inbound ...

The second course was a light butter lettuce and avacado salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. This course was paired with our Chardonnay.
