I spent today with the Lower Sixth on their leadership course. When the teams were with me, on Bryn Euryn, they had to build a shelter, a camp fire with seating for all, an SOS sign and an animal trap. They were each awarded marks for their leadership skills. This team were particularly good - maybe there is a Head Girl or Head Boy amongst them - we will know on Friday!! My money is on the third from left.

One flipped a 275- or a 240-pound tire, while another did lunges and the third walked with two 50-pound kettlebells; switching off when one of the team members was too tired to continue with his task. The first team to make it up and down the hill won. Soldiers completed this exercise four times. (Photo by Spc. Danielle Gregory, Ariz. Army National Guard PAO)
