The British West Country is a region with a growing reputation for producing quality wines, particularly sparkling wines. Key areas include Somerset, Cornwall, and Devon, with vineyards like Oatley Vineyard, Camel Valley, and Lyme Bay Winery gaining recognition. The region's climate, with its warmer summers compared to other parts of England, is well-suited to certain grape varieties like Pinot Noir, Bacchus, and Seyval Blanc.

Some great morning light in this terrific country setting along a concession road in southern Ontario.
I stopped beside the road to get a look at this old ranch house. It doesn't appear to be used anymore.
Travelling on the country roads makes for a scenic drive on your way to school !

Today is my Birthday " 67 " i am !
This country lane crosses fields in the valley near Nounan, Idaho. I wouldn't explore there without permission, and my guess is it goes to the Bear River. I would love to see what is on the other end.

Make no mistake it was 7F. I wasn't out for cross country skiing but was surprised to see others were. I just got out of the car for 5 minutes to take some shots, realized my body temperature was dropping too fast and went back to the car for my coat, hat and gloves. They didn't help,
You may have to zoom in a little bit to find the skier. Taken with my favorite 7artisans fisheye 10mm.

Waterfall Country is the name given to an area around the head of the Vale of Neath in South Wales where an unusually large number of publicly accessible waterfalls are located in the southern part of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Collectively the falls are one of the most popular natural attractions in South Wales,
Most occupy locations designated as sites of special scientific interest or as special areas of conservation which aim to protect the biodiversity and geodiversity of these sites. The designations place a duty on the landowners and managers to protect the sites and so various erosion control measures have been put in place in an attempt to counter the worst problems.
