A Cooper's Hawk continues to visit out backyard. I have 2 bird feeders that attract Blue Jays, Cardinals, Dark Eyed Juncos, Mourning Doves. Since the birds drop seeds, there are also mice and squirrels coming to the yard. On this day, the hawk was sitting on our fence looking down at a section of yard where mice have been hiding. For some reason, this hawk has become very accustomed to my taking his photo. For this particular photo, I am no more than 10 feet away from him!
