Beneath this elegant hotel on Place Vendome - in the basement level - the kitchens of the Ritz are to be found alongside the Ritz-Escoffier professional cooking school. We sat in on a course at the Ritz-Escoffier, but I also got a chance to shoot the hotel kitchens. Here, a place seen only by the serving staff, never by the hotel patrons, the details and design are on the same level as the hotel: mosaic tiles, decoratve columns, beautiful ceilings.
