i burned the hell out of my 6 qt pressure cooker this evening. i have no idea what happened... maybe i didn't add enough fluid. the pork roast was ok, if a little singed on the bottom, but the pot was a mess. thank goodness i always carry a backup pressure cooker with me at all times. this is my 4 qt Mirromatic.
By default, I always have rice cooked up. It's my staple. I eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With anything from eggs and bacon,to steak, pork chops and vegetables. Even if i'm lazy, i'll eat it with ramen noodles. It's one of the few foods I consistently make an effort to "cook"

This is Carlton Gate, Leeds. These maisonettes are condemned, depopulated and awaiting demolition. Some of the maisonettes have no stairs, and bedrooms and landings hang in space, no longer in use. I love the fact that lives happen here. Overdrafts and overdoses, arguments, first steps, last breaths, lost keys and lost virginity, conceptions, births and deaths.These will be gone soon, and with them the flotsam of daily life washed away for good.
