Cook Islands Holiday 2011

David Cook at the House of Blues Cleveland, 17-9-09

This time with heart shapes. I love this recipe from Cooks Illustrated, I made the crust the night before and finished the pie thanksgiving mornig, before I put the turkey in the oven

My rule of thumb is that it's done when the juice comes out all on it's own, especially on top. But then, I prefer slightly more cooked the not.

The front canopy is stylistically unobtrusive, although it blocks some exquisite terra cotta work.

laying just off Fingal Head, is Cook Island. The island is actually an aquatic reserve that is home to several threatened or protected species including the giant Queensland groper, black rockcod, goldspotted rockcod (formerly known as estuary cod) and the grey nurse shark.

It also makes for great photographs :D

Conditions weren't ideal tonight, think this place would offer a brilliant sunset when the atmosphere has little more clarity. So I will return.

Mouthwatering. But my day wasn't done. I've remembered where this restaurant is, though, and will be back.
