Every year in the New Forest, controlled burning is carried out to make way for fresh grass and to ensourage new growth. This was taken at Picket Post near Burley.

This is the control lever for our freight elevator. You can see all the confusing notations. The elevator doesn't automatically stop on floors. One has to push the crank to up or down and then press the button and then try to stop the thing when the crazy scrawl marks line up with the freight door. Sometimes the elevator just keeps going to the top, even when you try to stop it. Teresa says it's haunted.

I went on a bike ride through Glacial Park with a good friend of mine, they decided to do a controlled burn and this is the result.
Technically, I biked through a forest fire!
The Metro Traffic Control is on the same floor as the observation deck. You have to be quiet because they're recording messages a lot.
